St Vedast Church

St Vedast Church

There has been a church on St Vedast's site for seven hundred years. Named after a slightly obscure French saint, the current building dates from the early 16th century.

Following several restorations over the intervening years, the most significant being by Sir Christopher Wren in 1673, the church has survived, tucked away on Foster Lane set back from its junction with Cheapside.
